There are many choices available to customise your home and our experienced consultants will work closely with you to create a home unique to you. Choose your kitchen, bathroom, scullery and laundry fit-out as well as flooring and interior and exterior wall finishes. Changes to exterior colours and joinery within the same wall openings are all possible. A range of options are available within our high standard specification and there is the opportunity to upgrade items of your choice to meet your individual needs. Painted or plasterboard feature walls are also possible though it is best to complete this work on-site as these additions do not transport well.
Pricing is dependent on where you are looking to re-site the home and your own personalised choices. Please contact us for pricing and transport options in your area.
We will provide you with all the consenting paperwork for the home. Site-specific consent is your responsibility, however, we can assist you in obtaining this for an additional fee.
If we have a house available, as soon as consents and movers are arranged. If you place an order for a personalised home, it will go into production as soon as decisions on fit out and colours/cladding are finalised. Please discuss your expected production lead times with our ReadyBuilt team for a personalised home.
Westpac may be able to offer finance for purchasing a ReadyBuilt home, subject to their current home loan lending criteria. We can put you in touch with one of their mobile mortgage managers to discuss your options.
You have a choice of low maintenance powder coated aluminium in a wide range of colours or painted or stained VG Pine (vertical grain cut then glue laminated). You can also upgrade to Cedar – the price for upgrading will be provided on request. You can also have a mix of all three if you prefer.
We do have options available for different rooflines. If we don’t have a design that suits in the ReadyBuilt range, you can talk to us about our customisable Lockwood homes and on-site build options.
The interior fit out can be changed but with ReadyBuilt homes you cannot change the size or position of walls, interior doors or windows. If you want to make changes to the plan then please talk to us about our customisable Lockwood homes.

We work with experienced house movers that will assess the access and determine if a ReadyBuilt home will be able to be transported to site. If access is limited and a transportable home is not an option, we can talk to you about a home built on-site.
It all depends on access for the transporters. If they can get a truck through to the site, then the house can be sited on poles. We’ll discuss these options with you and a pre-purchase site visit will be arranged as part of the process.
No, transportable homes need to be placed on pile foundations. If you require a different foundation, talk to us about building on your site.
We cannot transport the house with decks so they are not included. These can be built on afterwards by your building contractor. You may need to add this information to the consent documents so talk to us about your plans for decking and landscaping.
Yes, you can either use the local Lockwood builder or any other licensed builder to do this site work. A garage can be added as part of the original siting consent or done separately at a later time.
Our homes are built with solid timber walls. Once the house is on site you could choose to add plasterboard. Plasterboard does not travel well so it would be unwise to do this in advance.
There are many heating options available for your ReadyBuilt home. Though we don’t include heating and hot water in our standard specification, please talk to us about your needs as we will work with you to find a solution to suit.
